It is very impressive in person and the mailbox is heavy duty steel with a locking door. This post can be made on a concrete pad poured in place, or installed in post holes with concrete. The inside framing is made from pressure treated 4x4 lumber and heavy duty metal brackets. The outside is clad with smooth cedar lumber using stainless steel screws and stained/sealed to the color of your choice. The light yellow stain in the photos above, as well as at the top of the home page, is “Honey Gold” by Olympic Elite. Two sets of address numbers are included.
